The Benefits of Being a Christian

The Bible teaches that a Christian will enjoy the following:

bulletEternity in Heaven, after death. " In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that's where I am, there ye may be also."  John 14: 2-3
bulletWe will enjoy the comfort that only God can provide during the trials of this life.   " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." Galatians 5:22-23.

The Bible teaches that we should avoid the following:

" Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyness, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."  Galations 5:19-21

The Bible teaches that Christians will enjoy Heaven.  By rejecting Biblical Christianity, everyone else has made the decision to follow the path that leads to eternal destruction.

" But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out." Luke 13: 27-28
