TRUTH FOR TODAY

BAPTISM AND THE BLOOD OF CHRIST
The question before us in this series of articles is not if the blood of Christ saves us. It does. The only question is when does it save us. Is it at the point of faith alone? NO! Faith is necessary but faith alone or by itself does not save (James 2:24). Does the blood of Christ save at the point of repentance? No! Remember, those on Pentecost were told to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38).
The blood of Christ saves when the penitent believer is baptized (immersed) in water for the remission of sins. When the penitent believer is baptized into the death of Christ, it is there that he contacts the blood. Have you been saved by the blood of Christ?
