 TRUTH FOR TODAY

Glenn E. Hawkins, Evangelist

 RELIGIOUS, BUT NOT RIGHT  [1]

Are people who claim to be religious right in the sight of God?  Should the gospel be preached to one who claims to be religious or should they be left alone?  Let’s notice some cases of conversion in the book of Acts.

“Devout men” (Acts 2:5) were in Jerusalem on Pentecost, a Jewish feast day.  Yet, Peter successfully attempted to convert them to Jesus Christ.  Notice that they responded to the gospel (Acts 2:37-38) and became Christians.  Peter and the other apostles did not leave them alone.   (more next week)
