Welcome
Welcome to our web site. We've tried to provide a concise overview of the local congregation and the church that Jesus Christ established. We welcome you to contact us electronically, but our heart-felt desire is that you come worship with us in person.
Our Mission
Our mission is to do God's will. We strive to worship God in the manner established by the church that He established in the first century.
Theology
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God. We seek to offer God acceptable worship by emulating the practices of the first century Church.
The Bible teaches that to be acceptable before God that we must
- Hear the word of God, either through the witness of another believer or by reading the Bible.
- Believe that Jesus Christ was, and is, the Son of God. That He was crucified, died and rose from the grave after three days.
- Repent of your sins. Turn away from the behaviors and thoughts that are contrary to God's will.
- Publicly confess that you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for our sins.
- Be baptized, by immersion into water, for the remission of your sins.
- We should strive to live a good life, marked by love and obedience to the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles.
- Worship God regularly at your local Church of Christ.
- Study the Bible, which will show you how to live a more joyful and peaceful life.
